At the end of May, we celebrated the end of Recovery Links Nottinghamshire and enrolled our new members into the Notts Recovery Collective. Family and friends looked on whilst people took their turn to express gratitude for how much the project had shaped their recovery journeys and shared gratitude for the family feeling it provided. This safe and supportive platform for change is something which we hope will get even stronger in future, The transition to our new identity isn’t just a name change. It marks a shift in how we work and how we relate to the wider community.
The Collective is a growing, participant-led community of people in recovery. It’s shaped by lived experience and driven by a shared belief: that recovery is strongest when it’s owned and led by the people living it. Our newly reimagined space will become a welcoming “Third Space”—not a service, not a clinic, but a home-like hub for connection, creativity, learning, and peer-led support.
We’ll be offering an expanding mix of activities, from hybrid peer groups to creative workshops, vocational training, and social enterprise. If you're in recovery or want to be an ally of community-rooted recovery, then we want you! Bring your skills, your enthusiasm and your ideas - the kettle's on!
The Notts Recovery Collective is about inclusion, agency, and hope. It’s for everyone in recovery—wherever you are on your journey.
We’re so proud of what’s come before. And we’re even more excited about what’s to come. Welcome to the Collective!
