Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,073

Double Impact is a registered charity and not for profit organisation, established in 1998. We believe that with the right support everybody can recover and that in recovery anything is possible.

We are looking for a Family and Carers Recovery Worker to join the team, who is passionate about supporting people in recovery and their families, carers and significant others. Has some experience of facilitating group work and of working with families and carers in some capacity.

You will understand service users’ recovery journeys from drug and/or alcohol misuse both within treatment and recovery services within NRN, and the challenges faced in the journey to get there. You will understand how this can affect families and carers of those going through addiction and be able to support them on a 1-1 basis and in a group setting.

In this role you will work closely with colleagues and peer mentors, supporting families, carers and significant others, to help them to feel heard, seen and supported. You will help us to build a culture of individual aspiration, spreading the messages amongst service users and families, carers and significant others that recovery is worth aspiring to and helping families, carers and significant others to support others in their recovery journey.

Candidates will ideally have basic IT Skills and familiarity with basic IT packages and systems. Successful candidates will uphold the values of Double Impact at all times, championing recovery and possibility thinking – a true motivator to others.

If you would like to be considered for this role, please complete the application form that is attached to the email. Please send your completed application form by email to Davie Hart Team Leader at david.hart@framewrorkha.org clearly stating the role that you are applying for.
