Double Impact is a registered charity and not for profit organisation. We have been generating
sustained and visible recovery from addiction since 1998.
The Nottingham Recovery Network comprises of Framework Housing Association, Double Impact and
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service is publicly funded and has been
established to support people who use drugs and alcohol. We provide a single point of advice, support
and treatment for anyone in Nottingham City who wishes to change their relationship with alcohol or
drugs.
Progression Pathway Coach
1 x 0.8 WTE, 4 days a week

Are you passionate about empowering individuals to rebuild their lives after substance use?
Do you believe in the power of education, coaching, and personal growth? We’re looking for
a compassionate and driven Progression Pathway Coach to join our recovery service and
help people take meaningful steps toward independence.
About the Role
As a Progression Pathway Coach, you will:
• Deliver accredited Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications to individuals in recovery.
• Provide personalised one-to-one coaching using trauma-informed, strengthsbased, and person-centred approaches.
• Support individuals to build confidence, develop new skills, and work towards goals
in education, training, volunteering, or employment.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that fosters growth and
resilience.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate engaging and accessible learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Develop progression plans in collaboration with service users.
• Track and celebrate progress, adapting support as needed.
• Work closely with peer mentors, recovery staff, and external partners to create holistic
pathways.
• Promote a culture of recovery, hope, empowerment, and opportunity.
About You
You’ll bring:
• Experience in coaching, teaching, or mentoring within recovery or related services.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
• A recognised teaching or coaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Excellent communication, motivational, and organisational skills.
• A genuine belief in people’s ability to change and grow.
