Opportunity and change
Opportunity and Change is a support programme for people with multiple and complex needs throughout Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Double Impact is a delivery partner in Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire.
The programme is being delivered by local organisations working together, with a range of experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs and aims to support people to achieve stability and provide access to mainstream services.
It is part of the national Building Better Opportunities programme funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.
It is being managed by Framework, a charity and housing association dedicated to helping homeless people, preventing homelessness, and promoting opportunities for vulnerable and excluded people.
Towards Work
The Groundwork Greater Nottingham Towards Work project is part of the national Building Better Opportunities Programme.
Jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund & the European Social Fund, the programme is delivered throughout Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire by a partnership of local organisations who specialise in supporting people into work. Double Impact is a delivery partner in Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire.
We aim to support with those vital first steps towards gaining employment and overcoming barriers through a personalised service and support.
Our team is committed to:
- Supporting people to overcome personal barriers to employment and training, by providing an all-inclusive package of support to those most at risk of social exclusion.
- Providing an In-Work Support service to ensure employment once obtained is sustained
- Providing a person-centered, tailored service particularly for;
- Supporting people to overcome personal barriers to employment and training, by providing an all-inclusive package of support to those most at risk of social exclusion.

- People out of work or economically inactive
- People aged over 50
- Young people not in education, employment or training

- Offering specialist support from our partnering BAME organisations, mental health and disability specialists for those in need of additional provisions.

Towards Work offers bespoke, personalised and tailored solutions to support an individual’s journey to personal progression and employment. Linking individuals with specialist local support and continued In-Work services resulting in job retention.

Well for Work is a new ESF funded programme to support you to overcome any barriers you may be facing to enter and sustain employment. Double Impact is a delivery partner in Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire.

- Supporting you to get into and stay in employment
- Providing a person-centred, tailored service for your needs
- Supporting you to overcome personal barriers to employment through training and skills development
- Help develop your confidence around employment and providing support once you gain employment
