Beacon Friends & Family Service, Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership
Contract: Permanent (employed by Double Impact as part of the Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership)
Location: South Lincolnshire, primarily covering Spalding, South Holland and parts of South Kesteven (travel across Lincolnshire required)
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (3 days),Monday to Friday, with flexibility to provide occasional evening appointments and support groups
Salary: £15,526.80 per annum (£25,878 FTE),plus pro rata 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays),increasing with service, and access to a company pension scheme.

About the Role
The Beacon Friends & Family Service provides support to people affected by someone else's drug or alcohol use. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Family & Affected Others Worker with lived experience to join our team.
You will support adults, young people and children aged 5 and over through one-to-one interventions, group work and community-based support. Your role will focus on helping individuals understand the impact of substance use, develop coping strategies, build resilience and improve their wellbeing.
This is a varied and rewarding outreach role, requiring someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities and build positive relationships with service users, colleagues and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of family members and affected others.
• Complete strengths-based assessments and identify support needs and risks.
• Develop and review support plans and risk management plans.
• Deliver person-centred interventions and ongoing emotional support.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring and development.
About You
We are looking for someone who shares the values of Double Impact and is passionate about supporting people affected by substance use.
Ideally, you will have:
• Lived experience and an understanding of the challenges faced by families and affected others.
• Experience of managing a caseload and supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills.
• The ability to work independently and effectively manage your workload.
• A flexible, proactive and person-centred approach.
As this is an outreach-based role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
