Recovery Coach
As a Recovery Coach, you’ll be a key member of this dynamic new partnership. You’ll work closely with people in treatment, helping them take their next steps into recovery, education, volunteering and independence.
Your role will include:
• Supporting people to achieve their goals and celebrate their successes
• Completing assessments and developing personalised recovery plans
• Delivering motivating, strengths based 1 1 and group sessions (full training given)
• Championing abstinent based recovery and possibility thinking
• Connecting people to community resources, peer support and learning pathways
• Facilitating recovery focused groups and mutual aid opportunities

You’ll be based either at Boston or Lincoln/Gainsborough and surrounding areas, with some travel to other local sites.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, solutions focused and motivated by seeing others thrive. Ideally, you will have:
• Experience of working within drug/alcohol treatment or recovery settings
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
• Strong IT and record keeping skills
• Understanding of addiction, recovery and abstinent based approaches
• Personal knowledge or understanding of recovery and recovery communities is desirable.
• A positive, can do attitude and a genuine passion for helping others
• For the Boston vacancy, the ability to communicate in Eastern European languages would be advantageous, where this supports the needs of local communities.

Most importantly, you will share our belief that people can make positive and meaningful changes in their lives when provided with appropriate support and opportunities.

Salary and hours:
• £25,878 per year with the opportunity to progress to £30,265
• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (one evening to 7pm)
• Part time options considered.
